Adults 18 and over including group support for whānau and family
The BOP Addiction Service is a regional service which offers specialist addiction services for people 18 years and older. The services offered includes advice and assessment, individual counselling and support, group work, a range of detox services, Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST), access to residential treatment and advice and treatment for the Substance Addiction Compulsory Assessment and Treatment (SACAT) Act.
Hanmer Clinic helps people that want to stop using alcohol and drugs. This includes people who are working or looking after others and are living in a safe home. Help starts with free counselling for 8-weeks so people can stop using drugs while staying at work. This is followed by regular care groups that help you stay drug free.
